Advanced Nurse Assistant Training mission is to provide educational opportunities that emphasize technical knowledge and practical skills needed to provide extraordinary quality patient care through classroom training and practical clinical experience. Our goal is to provide exceptional training that will prepare our students for success in taking the State Competency Evaluation and qualify them to become effective members of health care team whereby they may maximize their abilities through providing service to society.

Welcome to Advance Nurse Assistant Training (ANAT). Advance Nurse Assistant Training (ANAT) program is designed to provide a training program equipping Nurse Assistants with required skills to provide quality healthcare. Advanced Nurse Assistant Training (ANAT) program is authorized by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission and approved by the Tennessee Department of Health. ANAT is located in Nashville Tennessee.

CNAs
Certified nursing assistants, sometimes called nurses' aides, orderlies, patient care technicians, and home health aides, work under the supervision of a nurse to help patients with daily living tasks.
The nurse assistant must not only be very skilled in the actual procedures being performed but must also be able to make quick observations of a patient's condition and report that information back to the nurse. Due to time constraints, nurses often do not spend large amounts of time in the room with individual patients, the nursing assistant is known as the nurse's "eyes and ears".
